Anchorage Inn

The area is very quiet, and very comfortable. It was a mistake the room numbers but at the end we sort it out. We had the couple room.

Ordered great Food from the SunCity Restaurant. I was not staying there at the hotel though

We didn't go to the Anchorage Inn, however there is a new restaurant at the rear called Sun City. Very professional young staff that serve great home made food. Price is great and location lovely.

This place would be beautiful if it wasn't run down. Very dated the place needs renovations. We had no hot water. But at least we had a TV and air conditioning. The room was clean. Housekeeping friendly. Not worth the price you have to pay for this place. Sorry

This was not good at all the owner is not such of a professional person since it's the frist time I'm meeting her in a not pleasant way, beside the room we rented was flooding every minute and tub hold it's water and don't let it go, the owner indicated she need the car move from the lawn she claims and after moving the car all four tyre were slash and without no camera on the premises for me this is a big nooooooooooooooooooo

I was there in the summer of 1996, loved it. It had a different name, the island Inn. The building was white with a lovely garden filled with flowers and trees and grass

Very small rooms. A/C not working well. Pillows extremely dirty and smelled bad. Other than that, clean but old and things need to be fixed. Okay for a few days and when you're on budget.

Wonderful my son loved it me too, beautiful service, and staff always there to make sure we were doing great

Love love love this place! Completely underrated! I've been a couple times and wouldn't hesitate to go back again! The staff are beyond helpful and so friendly, they even helped me with last minute costume malfunctions for carnival, I couldn't be happier to stay here. Plus the food is good and is walking distance to a grocery store. Hope to be back again soon!

This was once a stunning hotel. It's now broken down and in disrepair. They do try to keep it clean but everything is old. Checking in at night was a nightmare cause reception desk was closed and night watchman had to check us in.

Hotel room was clean. Staff are friendly and courteous. The hidden gem was Flava's, the restaurant. A mixture of North American and local meals are available for breakfast or dinner at a very reasonable price. Portions, flavors, plating, atmosphere were superb. Highly recommend eating there. Chef was very accommodating for special meal request.

Just as other guest explained rooms could be more luxurious and locks on bedroom doors could be more safe room was not clean to a high enough speck but staff was helpful

Cafeteria (Restaurant), not so good. Rooms are ok, with very good a/c. The WiFi is somewhat slow. The hotel surroundings are beautiful.

Wonderful place to stay.staff were kind and friendly. Def. Got the taste of Caribbean life. The food was great rooms were clean. Stayed on ground floor back sliding door led directly to pool. Definitely recommended.

Stayed here for one night. It's fine. Not amazing, but clean, hot water and easy access to the grocery store and the downtown St John's area. Helpful to have a rental car when staying here.

Situated on the Anchorage Road (That's possibly where the name comes from) is the Anchorage Inn. This hotel or Inn if you will is within close proximity to the nearby beaches. This establishment caters to a varied clientele without being overly formal or casual at the same time.

The Caribbean Themed and named rooms are quite comfortable and well appointed. The facility is much larger than it may appear in passing and has quite an attractive grounds.

The restaurant area with the swimming pool has hosted many a pool party with great food and service. Dining here was a great experience for us and all had an enjoyable time. The people friendly and courteous staff makes for a more fulfilling culinary experience. Events and private dining are both accommodated at the restaurant and bar. Because the Restaurant is situated towards the rear of the property and total atmosphere of the place one feels as if in a oasis of gastronomic delight.

The frond desk and lounge were comfortable and relaxing with indoor plants and flowers. Everyone on staff seamed to want you to have a good time while at the hotel.

The buildings and grounds are well kept and maintained providing for an even more pleasant experience. Short term and longer staying guests are both accommodated and catered for (No pun intended).

Warm, friendly service is what makes this inn great. There is basic accommodation and great food for a reasonable price.
