53Everyone friendly enough & food is OK but Christ alive - what utter chaos! Wrong menus on entry, an hour for drinks, mixed up food & yeah, the USD scam to wash it all down! Such a shame as it used to be great…
Great place with good music and chilled out atmosphere. Great for a drink or meal.
Unfortunately we visited twice and found some members of staff to be less than helpful all without a smile. We visited for breakfast and were the only people in the place. There were 11 members of staff on site at the time. We were shown to a table by someone who appeared to be having a bad day. The food took an age to come out and we felt like we weren't really looked after.
Unfortunate as it a really a lovely place with great food.
Chaotic food service.entrees and mains arrived sporadically up to two and half hours after ordering … total chaos with no one seeming to be in charge.unacceptable considering the very high prices charged …
Disappointed with this establishment. The staff were friendly and the views lovely hence the 2 stars. However my food was underwhelming, both the lobster and the accompanying baguette were dry and chewy. I also found the billing to be very sneaky - the only place in the whole of Antigua who wouldn’t charge my card in ECD but insisted in billing in USD with an unofficial and poor exchange rate. Would not recommend based on average food and improper practices.
Someone recommended this place, and we decided to try it. Honestly, I was not impressed by the food. The views, the service and the atmosphere were great but the food was just ok. The local clams were full of sand. I get the point of freshness but rinse the sand off. The one that didn't have all the sand and I was able to taste was sweet.
Such a lovely place to enjoy view of beach.and a warm welcome from staff and wild birds.well worth a visit
The atmosphere is magic. Food and drinks are excellent! The service can be improved, but overall, this venue is great!
I would reserve a table when they have live music.
Catherine Cafe is obviously more expensive than other cafes or restaurants in the area, but it is worth the money.
Absolutely love Catherines café. Always a warm welcome and great atmosphere. Perfect spot for lunch on the beach. Saturdays are particularly fun with live music & usually lots of dancing.
All the staff are amazing but I have to make a special mention of Natasha and Earl who both have always gone above & beyond. Highly recommend.
Superb spot on another level from anything you can find in Antigua! It has everything you can wish for - amazing French cuisine along with delicious cocktails, right on the gorgeous secluded beach with a great view of the boats in the harbor, chill vibe with the right music, attentive service and even relaxing sunbeds you can lounge on. Best spot on the island to spend a day!
Catherine’s Cafe was a fun experience. We went there on a Monday afternoon which happened to be a public holiday so the place was packed. Front house staff was overwhelmed but they handled any blunders well and made you feel comfortable. You could dine at the set tables, share a beach bed with other patrons or lounge in beach chairs. We lounge on the shore line in beach chairs and we’re served drinks. We had multiple French 75s which were delicious, tasted better after each order. We ordered off the lunch menu as the beach menu was for light bites and we wanted a meal. When I tell you the chicken was succulent and the pasta perfectly cooked, I am not joking! Dessert was even better so ensure that you save room for that. We had a time! House-made ice cream, delicious. The chocolate eclair was divine. Only thing I ask is that they never fire their chefs. The food really made up for the busy vibe, as it did take a while to get a waiter at times. But as it got later in the afternoon, it was easier to get their attention and orders came more quickly. Catherine’s is definitely the spot for an afternoon at the beach with great edibles as you enjoy the sea air, take a swim or bask in the sunset. I 100% recommend.
Excellent food and atmosphere. Tables inside the restaurant as well as on the beach. We got the Lobster baguette and chicken baguette, both were fresh and flavorful. Friendly servers, great view of the bay. Our best experience in Falmouth Harbour by far!
Very cozy place right on the beach. Great food quality and chill atmosphere with nice music. Amazing to view a sunset at or take a dip in the sea.
Catherines Cafe is one of Antigua’s best places to hang out, eat and enjoy the sunset. The staff is absolutely fantastic from the beginning to the end. The menu is delicious, you really can’t go wrong with any selection. Take your time and look around, truly paradise.
Very overpriced for the kind of food and quantity served! US $89 for 2 glasses of wine, a bottle of sparkling water and a charcuterie board. I’ve never seen that ever in London or Paris. Outrageous!
This place has everything. Beautiful Ocean view, great music, comfy seating, amazing ambience and great tasting food.
Great restaurant on a beautiful beach. The drinks and food were top notch. This is a relatively expensive place to eat but the food, drinks, service and view make it worth the price
Pretty disappointed with the food.
Our waitress Felicity was amazing. Such a beautiful personality and wonderful customer service. She ensured that she explained the menu and even offered to take our group photo and made us laugh and smile. She was prompt with serving us and checked in to make sure we were ok. The bar tender was also divine, he ensured that the drink was mixed to our liking, and even apologized for taking long which we didn't even notice.
Unfortunately, the food was sub par. The salad dressing was actually salty, the fries were cold and soggy, the chicken breast was bland, there was neither steak sauce nor hot sauce. The bacon slab, which was actually an over salted pork belly could have raised one's pressure in one bite. The the snapper was the most disappointing on the table; it poorly seasoned (which is putting it lightly) it lacked flavour and it was justified by the manager Natasha that is was "seasoned with a little salt and pepper! Which is a general seasoning for EVERYONE. " Imagine my surprise at her response when she defended this bland meal. What a way to start off my birthday celebrations!
I really thought that I would have had one to remember, but the memory of this one is unfortunate.
The bread was great. If you are served by felicity it will surely be a delight. Hats off to the bartender. I really enjoyed the drink. The food however left much to be desired. I had the bacon slab. It was salty and the side of fries was cold and soggy. I must say I am very disappointed in the experience as the manager seemed defensive and not sympathetic to my groups plight.
Great service from the team at CC’s
We were so lucky to have been fitted in by head of house and it was well worth the effort. The service from Kay was outstanding and the drinks especially the Margaritas were the bomb. The escargots were perfectly served and the DJ kept the pace of the day on course, while we comfortably watched the ASW lay-day festivities. The Whistler crew will be back before we leave for Bds on Saturday.

I had a lovely time here at Catherine’s Cafe. The location is tremendous, and the food is just as good. The pricing is what you should except for the quality of food. Don’t be in a rush to leave; take your time and enjoy your stay.
