Dawne's Soleil Kafé

We’ve been on Antigua for three weeks and tried many restaurants, but Dawne's Soleil Kafé stands out as the best!

We visited it three times and consistently loved
• the high-quality food
• attentive and friendly service
• and cozy atmosphere.
(There was even live music one night).

Definitely recommend it!

Favorite dining experience in Antigua. Visited Dawne's over a year ago and this review is way over due. We went several times during our week long stay. Great options for both vegans/vegetarians and those who eat meat and fish. The staff was super friendly and I will definitely be back to dine during our next trip.

My friend and I came here for lunch and I must say I was thoroughly thrilled with both the quality of the food and the quality of the service. Eating here felt like eating a good home cooked meal at your favourite aunt's house. I had the quinoa salad and I added mahi mahi to make it a full meal, and the combination of the fresh greens + carrots, curried chick peas, and perfectly cooked mahi mahi made for every bite to be as delicious as the last.eating among all the bright green foliage of the palms surrounding us definitely made every bite all the better.
I can't wait to go back

We were recommended this restaurant after visiting the next door spa. Turned out to be a great one! Dawne was friendly, went through the menu with us (all looked tasty). We had seafood, which was great. Have with pepper sauce on the side which is made in-house (and buy a bottle to take home!). Relaxed atmosphere, made to feel at home. Thanks.

Lovely restaurant with a gorgeous outdoor space. The food was very good, and the menu was large and varied. Dawne, the proprietor, is there to chat with her guests. The staff was all very welcoming and friendly. Loved the tamarind lollipop they gave me for my flight, too! Great spot.

Found this on a whim and we're so glad we went. Friendly staff, good food and chill atmosphere. And Dawne is so nice.

The tranquility of this establishment is so Caribbean. Truly tropical. The cuisines are so deliciously creative and unique. It is clear that alot goes into the creativity of the food. All drinks a made with real fruits. I highly recommend anyone visiting Antigua to come to this restaurant for a genuine island cuisine.

Dawne and her team provided the most magical lunch experience for my wife and I! Dining in a lush, covered outdoor area and receiving world class attention and recommendations from Dawne herself, we will definitely be back here on this trip and all future visits to Antigua.

If you are in the area I would highly recommend Dawne's. Fantastic daily blackboard menu, awesome rum punch, and a nice white wine along with excellent service in a pretty setting.

This was the best restaurant we discovered in our week holiday in Antigua. The food is just perfect, fresh and tasty and the customer service is excellent. Dawne really knows how to make people happy with food and drinks. I would go back to Antigua just for this restaurant. Thank you, Dawne!

Amazing local food made by a very nice person! Especially recommend the Quinoa Salad, likely the best salad we’ve ever had, with an array of delightful and interesting flavors. The interior makes for a very chill and natural dining experience; it’s a great touch.

Absolutely fabulous lunch, and one of the best Rum Punches on island.

And our daughter who left her beach towel there says please keep it, and make use of it! It is basically new, and from Marrakesh.

Dawnes Soleil Kafe is beautiful inside and out and seem to be a direct reflection of the owner operater Dawne.my partner and I were welcomed in to the beautifully decorated restaurant with a warm smile and open arms. Dawne's is a carribean themed Gem, tucked away just of a main road its full of color, personality and FLAVOR. We both were celebrating our birthday month, Ms Dawne treated us like family and just made a great day even better we ordered the Antiguan breakfast and omelette with the house signature "water fall" hotsauce a must have we plan on returning for more! If your in the area stop by and have a bite, thank me later

Dawne really is a ray of sunshine. Her warm personality is half the reason I like it here.

The menu changes daily and she's fairly open to customize things to your taste.

The atmosphere is relaxing and her bar is fully stocked.

Loved everything about this restaurant. The food was amazing: had cockles in white wine and curried conch. Went back there for lunch the next day. Highly recommended.

We stopped by for lunch after landing on the island, and before our condo unit opened.
We ordered conch curry and stuffed chicken. The rice/plantain sides (included) added a lot to both the presentation and our enjoyment of our dishes.
Both our fresh non-alcoholic drinks were tasty: a lemongrass cooler and a sorrel cooler - the lemongrass drink was a total home run.
We enjoyed the vibe of the place - I guess you'd say it's relaxed, understated Caribbean elegance - a great place to unwind.
Dawne and her staff were the most hospitable people we encountered on the island.
This restaurant is well worth a visit!

The best meal we had on the island. We actually dropped by after lunch one day to see if they were serving dinner that night. Ended up speaking with Dawne for quite some time, and we returned later that eve for dinner. The goat curry and the mahi were unbelievable, as was her blended rum and homemade hot sauce (buy a bottle to go!). She clearly knows what she is doing in the kitchen. Perfect evening, amazing food, top notch service. If you are anywhere on the north side of the island, drop in for lunch or find out out which nights she is serving dinner. Highly recommended - thanks for a great evening!

Visiting Antigua regularly, Dawne’s is my first stop for some gorgeous Caribbean food - I have yet to be disappointed can’t recommend it highly enough
