One of the best places on Earth. Great rooms, big and comfortable, well trained staff, courteous and attentive to all needs. Two top restaurants, a day and an evening spot, both really good with amazing views.
All in all, a great place to stay, a great vacation spot!

Lovely location with extensive beautifully-kept grounds leading to a long beach.

The Reef restaurant on the beach serves breakfast and lunch which are both excellent with lovely staff who are eager to please.

The Terrace restaurant on the other hand lets the place down. The menu is very small and is not changed from day to day. The food served doesn’t always exactly match the menu description and is plain and unimaginative. If you’re looking for a gourmet experience on holiday then this is not the place for you.

The rooms are huge if looking a little tired. The reception and main buildings are some distance from the rooms down a steepish road and there is a shuttle van to take you back and forth. Unfortunately you sometimes have to wait 10-15 minutes for it.

There was a Nespresso machine in our room accompanied by a notice that stated that the coffee pods would be charged at US$3 each. This is penny-pinching in the extreme which I’ve never come across before anywhere. Most hotels replenish them on a daily basis without extra charge.

Cut out the penny-pinching and change the chef and it would be an idyllic place to visit.

5 star, very small luxury resort. This hotel is a great place to bask in the sun with a white sand beach, sun loungers, and beach umbrellas. Outside activities available. For the quiet, relaxing person who wants peace and quiet.

A little bit of paradise on earth. Wonderful location with a really special staff team who are professional, knowledgeable, yet so friendly and thoughtful. Thank you to all, not only those 'front of house' but equally those 'unseen' who maintain the family that is The Inn.

Fabulous location. Excellent rooms, service and friendly staff. Boat shuttle will take you into Admiralty Harbour where there are other restaurants and walks. Also great beach bar, Loose Cannon, on Galleon Beach for cocktails and lunch or dinner.

Small and quiet boutique resort that is absolutely fabulous. Beautiful large rooms with lots of wood detailing and large bathrooms. The service is excellent and people are nice. Food is fantastic with an italian chef at the helm with lots of variety. Great beach and the pool is beautiful too. Seriously nothing to complain about!

There is no better place for a relaxing holiday, it's quiet and peaceful.
Loved swimming each day around the bay.
Feel very spoilt to have come

According to the SLH network, the Hotel has a boutique level and has 5 stars. But I want to assure you that this is not that case. For breakfast, you will be offered an assortment and level no better than in a regular gas station cafeteria. For example, we asked for a simple salad or vegetables, to which the waiters say that there are no salads and greens and this is only served for lunch. When we ordered avocado toast, they brought us 3 tiny pieces that were half over ripe. And so it went on for two days in a row, when patience was already over. The breakfasts deserve a 2-. From that moment, we decided to eat outside. The beach is tiny; in the yard, all the grass is dry and yellow (it was possible to install watering cans at least). During the day, you can only drink coffee on the beach or in your room. Restaurants on site of hotel operate on a scheduled basis only. Dinner, on the other hand, is not bad. There were many unpleasant and pleasant moments, in general, there is no desire to return to the hotel, I do not recommend

Fantastic resort, exactly what I was looking for for my vacation. Relaxing, laid back, small and quiet. The staff are super helpful and friendly. Fantastic room - traditional English plantation style, big private verandas. The location is perfect - on a beautiful private beach but a short water taxi ride to a historic dockyard and marina with big yachts from all over. Lots of history, architecture and bars/restaurants for a change of pace from the resort. I’d definitely come back again.

Stayed at The Inn for third time in four years and it was great to see once again that nothing had changed with exceptional service and accommodations. Thanks to all the staff including, Neil, Shirley, Ocean and forgetting Wes who make us most welcome. Look forward to coming back next year. Peter &Kathy

I am sorry it has taken me so long to write this review, given we visited the Inn at English Harbour in July, the first trip we were able to take once lockdown restrictions in England had eased. Prior to the Inn, we stayed at another, larger hotel for 5 nights. I was extremely impressed by this gorgeous hotel. Firstly, there are no children allowed, unlike bigger corporates, so if you are a couple on a romantic getaway (as we were) you will have the larger pool and all surrounding areas to yourself. The manager at the hotel was extremely accommodating and kind, patiently helping my husband and I find the perfect room, as he has a phobia of insects. The hotel helped us find a room with a beautiful garden view (away from the beach which they had originally booked for us) with excellent ventilation, and provided mosquito repellents and spray to put his mind at ease. I was touched that the manager himself came to meet us and gave us a tour of the rooms in his golf cart. Once we had settled in, everything about this hotel was impeccable. The views are serene and absolutely glorious, the beach is quiet and private, and the drinks (which the staff serve to you directly on the beach) are delicious! Every morning we would be greeted by the lovely staff at the beach restaurant, and by the second morning the team knew our coffee preferences and had this waiting and ready to go. These small touches made us feel as if we had come to a private resort rather than a huge corporate where we would be overlooked. Again, as the hotel is small, the rest of the guests are friendly and the atmosphere is very peaceful and intimate. We actually ended up becoming friends with another family visiting on holiday and took a boat together to visit the pink beaches of Barbuda (which are not to be missed). It was wonderful to play tennis everyday, swim and rest by the beach, and go swimming in a pool that was almost always empty just for us. My only regret was that the larger restaurant at the top of the property was closed during our stay, which was completely understandable given the hotel was operating at reduced guest capacity due to COVID. However, it was like the management read our minds and for our last evening at Antigua, all guests at the hotel were invited for a special dinner at the restaurant at the top of the hotel. The views and the sunset from here were absolutely breath taking, and the food all the more special. I can say, without a doubt, that visiting this property and our trip here was one of the happiest and most magical moments of my life. I cannot thank the hotel staff enough for reminding us what a holiday felt like after COVID. If you have the opportunity to visit the Inn at English Harbour, I would recommend that you go without hesitation. Thank you so much to the team and we hope we will be lucky enough to visit you again soon!

The Inn at English Harbour is a fantastic hotel, and a great choice in Antigua for anyone who is looking for more than a closed off, all-inclusive resort.

Being right on Galleon Beach means The Inn has some of the best beach views, access to crystal clear ocean, and amazing snorkeling right outside the rooms (there are a few underwater shipwrecks nearby, and it's quite common to see turtles while snorkeling). If you can get a room on the beach, it is absolutely worth it. I really can't say enough about how beautiful the location and grounds are, it feels like a postcard every direction you look.

You can easily hike up to Shirley Heights, and the hotel has a free jetty that will take you over to Nelson's Dockyard, which makes it a great home base to explore this part of the island. Kayaking is also excellent in this area, and The Inn has a few single and double kayaks you can easily take out.

The team and staff were incredibly hospitable, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. The grounds have a relaxed feel to them, and overall the experience avoids the craziness and manufactured feel that the bigger all-inclusive resorts offer.

I would recommend the Dinner, Bed & Breakfast rate over the full all-inclusive. It's nice to be able to explore Nelson's Dockyard or elsewhere on the island and not feel stressed to get back for lunch, but having breakfast and dinner already taken care of is much easier. I wish there was a bit more variety on the dinner menu, but that is a minor complaint compared to the amazing views, access, experience, and staff.

I just had a two week stay at the Inn, which was incredible!
Rooms were huge with great views. I loved the bonus of having water toys, canoes and snorkeling gear free for hotel guest. There is nothing like having a cappuccino first thing in the morning on the beach just outside of your room. The entire staff - bartenders, boat driver, manager, housekeepers, front desk staff, etc - were some of the friendliest in the business. Thank you for the hospitality, I look forward to recommending your hotel to anyone visiting Antigua

Having been lucky enough to have just spent a considerable amount of time at various location on the beautiful island of Antigua we were lucky enough to conclude our time at The Inn at English Harbour and there is no doubt in our minds that this is by far the best hotel on the island. This is a view held by many other, locals and tourists alike. Fabio leads a fabulous team. They have found that silver line between professionalism and inclusivity. There is always laughter to be heard and the atmosphere is one of joy. The people who are lucky enough to stay here know they have found a home from home and a pure gem. The location of the cabanas on the beach is unrivalled. You fall asleep and wake to the lapping waves on the stunning Galleon Beach You literally couldn't be any closer to the sea. It is breathtakingly glorious.
We used the wonderful glass bottomed boat to see and swim with turtles and to paddle ourselves across to Nelson Dockyard. The water sports equipment was terrific and of a high standard which is often not the case. Captain Vere looked after us wonderfully. We will return but until we do we will hold such happy happy memories of our time with you. Thank you. Jen and Freya

We had a wonderful time. From start to finish everyone was so attentive and friendly. We had a warm welcome from the receptionist with a detailed orientation of the property. A lovely welcome drink awaited us -no alcohol yet We were shuttled to our sealed room as part of the required standard operation for COVID certified hotels. Room was spacious with a big bed and lovely view overlooking the beach. At the beach, Darron the beach attendant made sure we were well hydrated. We had a sense of privacy which was what we were looking for. The food was lovely on the days we used the Restaurant. I would recommend the hotel and will definitely be back!

Lovely hotel with a great beach and very friendly staff. Great views and just around the corner from the harbour which has lots of restaurants. 4* because the food was not quite as good as everything else. But would highly recommend!
